- Support day-to-day IT and security operations across both enclave and commercial environments, including SaaS administration, endpoint management, networking, troubleshooting, vulnerability management, and user support.
- Assist with compliance and security initiatives including CMMC, NIST 800-171, SOC 2, and related security and governance programs.
- Participate in security operations workflows including vulnerability remediation, audit preparation, evidence collection, vendor/security reviews, and policy/process development.
- Manage and support Windows, macOS, and Linux systems across cloud and local environments.
- Help improve identity and access management practices, endpoint security posture, asset management, and operational visibility across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to balance security, usability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and repeatable operational processes that support scaling the organization securely.
- Assist with onboarding, user lifecycle management, and internal technical support across the company.
- Domestic travel may occasionally be required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and may be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.
3–5 years of experience across IT, infrastructure, systems administration, security operations, or related technical roles.
Strong hands-on experience supporting corporate IT environments in a small or mid-sized company setting.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, endpoint management, identity and access management, SaaS administration, and modern security tooling.
Experience administering Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
Familiarity with MDM platforms, cloud-based collaboration systems, and endpoint security solutions.
Exposure to regulated or compliance-oriented environments such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently across multiple domains.
Comfortable balancing operational support responsibilities with longer-term infrastructure and security projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on documentation and operational clarity.
