Radar Systems Engineer
We are seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to help develop and enhance MatrixSpace’s unique, compact, and cost-effective radar systems. You’ll be part of a dynamic and growing engineering team driving cutting-edge technology.
No prior radar experience? No problem—this is an excellent opportunity to learn!
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize radar algorithms and system configurations.
• Tailor radar system performance for diverse customer applications.
• Collaborate closely with software and hardware teams to enhance radar capabilities.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret field data to validate and improve system performance.
Skills & Qualifications
• Knowledge in areas related to radar, such as RF systems or robotics (tracking, motion planning), ideally in real-world environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers) or experience in signal processing.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience or strong interest in RF systems.
• Ability to work on-site at our Hoffman Estates location.
• This position involves working directly or indirectly with the U.S. Government in restricted environments. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders).
